Roasted Garlic
2bulbsgarlicwhole bulbs tops cut off
2tbspolive oil
Garlic Bread Spread
1stickbuttersalted, room temp
3/4cupLifeway Farmers Cheese
1 1/2cupParmesan cheesegrated
2tspgarlic powder
1tsp onion powder
2tspsalt
pepper
1pinchchili flakesoptional
1french bagettecut lengthwise
Instructions
Roasted Garlic
Preheat oven to 400°.
Cut the tops off the garlic bulbs, and place each one on a sheet of aluminum foil.
Drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil over the top of each bulb, add a pinch of salt and a few cracks of pepper and wrap tightly in the foil. Roast in the oven for 45 min to 1 hour until garlic is fragrant and soft.
Garlic can be used immediately or stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Garlic Bread Spread
Preheat oven to 400°.
In a bowl squeeze the roasted garlic out of the bulbs and combine with butter, farmers cheese, 1/2 cup of parm, garlic and onion powder, optional flaked, salt, and pepper.
Spread generously on the bread and top with 1 cup of parm ( or another meltier cheese if subbing out).
Bake open faced on sheet pan for 10 minutes until cheese begins to brown ( or melt ). Enjoy!
